We can spray it thick between rafters, and it fills the irregular cavities common in older framing.

Closed-cell runs about R-6 to R-7 per inch. It cures dense and rigid, resists moisture, and delivers roughly double the R-value per inch. Where rafter depth is limited and we need maximum R in a thin lift, closed-cell earns its higher price. On some jobs we apply it to the attic floor instead, sealing the plane directly above the living space.

How an Attic Job Runs

It starts with the assessment. We come out, measure the attic, look at the existing insulation, check the roof deck and ventilation, and talk through what you want from the space. Then we quote the job, free, with no obligation.

On install day, the crew protects your floors and anything stored in the attic, masks off areas that should not get foam, and stages at the access. If old batts need to come out first, they come out and get hauled away.
