Who We Are

We are a spray foam insulation contractor based in Greenville, South Carolina, and we have spent more than 20 years insulating homes and buildings across the Upstate. Our crews handle every step of the job, from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup. When you hire us, the company that writes your estimate is the company that shows up to spray.

We install open-cell and closed-cell spray foam, and our services include attic insulation, crawl space encapsulation, insulation for new construction, and removal of old or damaged insulation. We are insured, and every estimate is free.

Our service area covers Greenville and the surrounding Upstate, including Greer, Taylors, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Travelers Rest, Fountain Inn, Piedmont, and Spartanburg. Within Greenville, we work throughout North Main, the West End, Overbrook, Augusta Road, and Pendleton Street, along with the post-war ranches on the way toward Simpsonville.

Built for Upstate Weather

Greenville sits in IECC Climate Zone 3A, and at roughly 1,000 feet of elevation our winters run colder than the South Carolina coast. Winter lows regularly drop into the low 20s, and older homes with thin wall insulation feel every degree. Summer brings the opposite problem: heavy humidity that works its way into attics and crawl spaces and stays there.

Crawl spaces are where we see the most damage. The Upstate gets over 50 inches of rain a year, and a vented crawl space under a 1920s bungalow in Overbrook or a ranch outside Mauldin can mean damp floors, musty air, and ductwork sweating through the summer. Encapsulation, paired with the right foam, is often the fix, and it is a large part of our work in the older housing stock around Greenville, much of it built in the 1920s through the 1940s.

How We Work

Every job starts with a free estimate and a real look at the building. We check the attic, the crawl space, and wherever else heat is escaping, then tell you what we would insulate, what we would leave alone, and why. A 1930s bungalow in North Main usually needs a different plan than new construction in Greer, and we plan the job accordingly.

We choose between open-cell and closed-cell based on the application, not on what is easiest to spray that day. Closed-cell goes where moisture resistance and R-value per inch matter most, like crawl space walls and rim joists. Open-cell is a good fit for many attics and interior applications. If the job calls for removing old insulation first, our crews handle the tear-out and disposal.

For builders, we insulate new construction across the Upstate and work with your schedule so the foam goes in when the job is ready for it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does spray foam insulation cost in South Carolina?

Spray foam insulation in South Carolina typically costs $1.00–$1.60 per board foot for open-cell foam and $1.60–$2.60 per board foot for closed-cell foam. Attic and crawl-space scopes are quoted from measured board feet after an on-site evaluation. Final pricing depends on crawl-space access, the foam thickness the assembly needs, and whether existing insulation has to be removed first — we give a firm number after we see the space.

What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam for South Carolina homes?

Closed-cell spray foam delivers approximately R-6 to R-7 per inch; open-cell approximately R-3.5 to R-4 per inch. Closed-cell is recommended for South Carolina crawl spaces and moisture-prone areas because it provides a Class II vapor retarder — critical in a hot, humid climate. Open-cell is preferred for many attic applications and costs less per board foot. The Greenville / Upstate SC service area sits in IECC Climate Zone 3A (mixed-humid). Code requires R-38 to R-49 (Zone 3A).

How long does spray foam insulation last in a South Carolina home?

Spray foam is a permanent insulation with an expected lifespan of 80+ years without sagging or compressing when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batts, it does not compress, sag, or absorb moisture. In South Carolina's hot, humid climate, closed-cell foam also resists the moisture infiltration that shortens the life of other insulation types.

How much can spray foam insulation reduce energy bills in South Carolina?

Homeowners typically see 20–40% lower heating and cooling costs after air sealing and insulation, depending on the home's starting condition. In South Carolina's cooling-dominated climate, spray foam's dual function as insulation and air barrier stops the humid-air infiltration and radiant heat that fiberglass batts alone cannot address.

Are rebates or tax credits available for spray foam insulation in South Carolina?

Duke Energy (Progress) and local programs periodically offer rebates for qualifying insulation and air-sealing upgrades; amounts vary by measure and change annually — confirm current amounts before your estimate. The federal 25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit for insulation expired December 31, 2025 and is not currently available. We do not advertise it as an active incentive.
