Who We Are
We are a spray foam insulation contractor based in Greenville, South Carolina, and we have spent more than 20 years insulating homes and buildings across the Upstate. Built for Upstate Weather
Greenville sits in IECC Climate Zone 3A, and at roughly 1,000 feet of elevation our winters run colder than the South Carolina coast. Winter lows regularly drop into the low 20s, and older homes with thin wall insulation feel every degree. Summer brings the opposite problem: heavy humidity that works its way into attics and crawl spaces and stays there.
Crawl spaces are where we see the most damage. The Upstate gets over 50 inches of rain a year, and a vented crawl space under a 1920s bungalow in Overbrook or a ranch outside Mauldin can mean damp floors, musty air, and ductwork sweating through the summer. Encapsulation, paired with the right foam, is often the fix, and it is a large part of our work in the older housing stock around Greenville, much of it built in the 1920s through the 1940s.
How We Work
Every job starts with a free estimate and a real look at the building. We check the attic, the crawl space, and wherever else heat is escaping, then tell you what we would insulate, what we would leave alone, and why. A 1930s bungalow in North Main usually needs a different plan than new construction in Greer, and we plan the job accordingly.
We choose between open-cell and closed-cell based on the application, not on what is easiest to spray that day. Closed-cell goes where moisture resistance and R-value per inch matter most, like crawl space walls and rim joists. Open-cell is a good fit for many attics and interior applications. If the job calls for removing old insulation first, our crews handle the tear-out and disposal.
